The honest way to value the monthly GTA$500,000 is against what Rockstar itself charges for GTA$. The $9.99 Bull Shark card buys GTA$600,000, about $1.66 per 100K. The perks rotate on a roughly monthly cycle that starts on a Thursday, so judge GTA+ by what each period gives rather than by the brochure. The last three periods, from Rockstar’s own announcements:
- July 14 to August 12: built around the new Kortz Center Heist: a free Grotti Veleno GT, up to GTA$3,000,000 off the Mansion and Art Studio the heist needs, 50% off Benny’s and HSW conversions, and HSW Time Trials paying up to 4X. For anyone buying into Kortz, the discount alone outweighed weeks of casual earnings.
- August 13 to September 9: a free Gallivanter Warden SUV, the Garment Factory 60% off with double passive income, and 2X GTA$ and RP on The FIB Files.
- September 10 to October 7: a free Pegassi Horus supercar, 2X GTA$ on your first Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid finale each week, Biker business properties and upgrades 60% off with doubled cocaine production speed, and 3X GTA$ and RP on Bike Service work.

September is the strongest of the three for pure money, because the Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid is the best free-to-start method in the GTA Online rankings and its first finale each week is the run most players do anyway.
The free month with GTA 6 preorders, and the catch
Digital GTA 6 preorders on the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store include one free month of GTA+, redeemable until March 31, 2027. Real bonus, real catch: it auto-renews at $7.99 when the free month ends.
Who should skip it
PC players still on the Legacy version (the benefits need GTA V Enhanced), anyone who logs in less than roughly once a month (the GTA$ piles up but you are paying for a game you don’t play), and anyone who never wanted GTA$ in the first place. The deposit only has value if you would otherwise grind or pay for that money. A subscription you forget about is how a $7.99 perk quietly becomes a $96 yearly bill.
